As is well known, the market for high-end active noise cancelling headphones has always been dominated by Sony, BOSE, and Apple. Many people think that they rely on excellent noise cancelling performance and high brand support, but this is not entirely true.
In addition to these three companies, you also have well-known audio giants such as Jaboran, Sennheiser, Byya, and Yamaha that promote high-end active noise cancelling headphones. Especially, the works of these headphone giants have unparalleled sound quality, but they just can't sell them.
The reason is not just that they will promote, but that they have prematurely occupied a position of "best, strongest" in the minds of consumers.
A clear contrast is that many active noise cancelling headphones are directly inferior in terms of appearance.
You should know that wearing active noise cancelling headphones is necessary when going out, and it goes without saying how important the appearance is when wearing them?
Saying so much is just to say that it is difficult to shake the market position of these three companies in active noise cancelling headphones.
But not everyone is willing to buy expensive noise cancelling headphones, which gives other brands an opportunity.
If you are looking to buy a pair of head mounted active noise cancelling headphones with good noise reduction, sound quality, and wearability, then the Sound Beauty P60BT ANC is a good choice.
▲ Note that the Shengmei P60BT has two versions, one is the GM for positioning gaming headphones, and the other is the ANC for positioning active noise cancellation.
Both pairs of headphones actually have versatile properties, capable of listening to music, playing games, and watching TV shows! Because the P60BT GM focuses on gaming headphones, it has three connection methods: 2.4G wireless, 5.2 Bluetooth, and wired. However, the P60BT ANC, which is designed for active noise cancellation, only has two connection methods: Bluetooth and wired.
But please note that both support NFC, and personally I really like this feature.
▲ The packaging box is quite large, and the storage box inside is naturally not small. The lining is hidden inside the storage box, which may take up some space for business trips, but it is very safe.
▲ The design of the storage box, although not very innovative, is not inferior to Sony's workmanship.
▲ The storage display of P60BT ANC features two ear cushions that can be rotated inward by 90 degrees. The inner lining is very thoughtful, so there is no need to worry about the headphones being crushed.

▲ The appearance of Shengmei P60BT ANC is not very beautiful, but it is definitely not ugly. The design is simple and generous. There is no useless decoration to highlight the original elements. The ear muffs are not as thick as big Mantou.
▲ The earmuffs are also oval shaped like duck eggs, and the back cover is made of a skin like material with a slight matte finish. Note that touch based operations are also supported here.
▲ The right ear cup is the touch operation area, with a fingerprint identification on it. The operation logic is very simple, from the center up or down is to adjust the sound quality, and to the left or right is to cut the song. Note that there is a commendable detail design here, which pauses/starts by double clicking any point in the touch area. This design not only prevents accidental touches but also enables more portable operations.
▲ Ear cushions display, with a medium to large contour that can cover normal ears. The ear cushions are made of delicate protein skin, ensuring sufficient overall comfort for wearing.
▲ Sound Beauty P60BT ANC Interactive Experience
After transferring commonly used operations such as volume adjustment, song switching, pause start, and hanging up calls to the touch area on the back cover of the earmuffs, the interaction of the Shengmei P60BT ANC only has one physical button, which is responsible for switching on/off, noise reduction mode, transparency mode, and normal mode.
This interaction has no learning cost at all. After long pressing to power on (entering Bluetooth pairing mode after the first power on), short pressing will switch modes. However, what makes me a bit uncomfortable is that it takes longer to shut down.
In terms of Bluetooth, P60BT ANC uses Qualcomm 5.2 version, so it also supports aptX HD, aptX, and AAC encoding. The signal strength was a bit unexpected. Personally tested indoors, the partition effect was very good, better than all the TWS headphones I have played with.
In terms of battery life, the P60BF ANC comes with an 800mAh battery, with a total battery life of up to 50 hours. Even with noise reduction turned on, it can last up to 45 hours. In addition, it supports fast charging (10 minutes of charging and 5 hours of listening to music), which is worthy of catching up.
▲ Noise reduction experience section
In terms of noise reduction, the purchase page of P60BT ANC shows that it adopts a dual feed active noise reduction technology combining feedforward and feedback microphones, and uses Sony's CDX3728 HD noise reduction processor, with a noise reduction depth of -30dB.
These configurations should be reliable. Although I haven't found out which Sony model this noise cancelling processor is equipped with, as a former Baiya OEM factory, Shengmei clearly has the business capability for this.
In terms of actual experience, the P60BT ANC has a noise reduction effect on one ear, and wearing it also provides a Sony like experience of the world suddenly becoming quiet. It has a significant noise reduction effect on car horns, engines, and the noise of electric vehicles speeding by on the road, but in the park, it is not clear enough to handle the voices of the elderly singing K.
In terms of transparency mode, I personally think its noise reduction effect is even more obvious. It can almost achieve the effect of not wearing headphones, just like the singing of the elderly people in the park.
In fact, compared to these, the Shengmei P60BT ANC has another feature, which is that its sound quality does not seem to be compromised in noise reduction mode, which gives me a better feeling than Sony's noise reduction headset.
▲ Personal subjective listening experience sharing
In terms of sound, the Shengmei P60BT ANC has the transparency and cleanliness of one ear, but the atmosphere is still slightly weak. If you want to come for excitement, you may be disappointed.
At low frequencies, the dynamics of P60BT ANC are not prominent, but the sound field is not particularly large and has good transients. In addition, the sound base is solid enough and has a decent sense of volume, making the overall sound transparent and smooth. There is a good instrumental separation in the details, ensuring a delicate level of analysis.
The human voice of P60BT ANC can reflect the HIFI essence of sound beauty, with a light style, no cold or warm trend, natural thickness, clean and bright tone, a certain sense of density, excellent resolution but without the sharpness of high resolution. The structure is clear and solid, natural teeth, and can be controlled by both male and female voices. The aftertaste is very strong. If it is an old burner, it will like this kind of center tone, but if it is a novice burner, it may feel too plain and light.
Based on the flat sound of the Sound Beauty P60BT ANC, its high frequency appears more flat, without sharp dynamics or stimulating analysis, but the sound field is still large and has a good sense of hierarchy. Actually, these are not the key points, because even so, its overall transparency is very clear.
In terms of high-frequency instrumental analysis, the P60BT ANC demonstrates stability and a clean and natural tone. Although it is not very bright, all the necessary details are present, including some overtones that remain dynamic.
Listening to small orchestral music may still feel light and the musical sense is not very obvious, but it is very good for classical music with piano and saxophone as the main genres.
▲ Overall summary section
Like many HIFI headphone manufacturers who produce active noise cancelling headphones, the sound quality of the Shengmei P60BT ANC is significantly better than its active noise cancelling experience. Moreover, its sound is not only centered, but also has a strong aftertaste. Simply listening to popular music is not enough to reflect this advantage. Those interested must try various styles of music.
I personally wear it while riding a bicycle, and even after an hour of breathing, I still feel unsatisfied. In addition to the sound quality, it is also very comfortable to wear. As for the wearing effect, I dare not say whether it is handsome or not, but it is definitely not ugly. As I mentioned earlier, it does not have any fancy design.
Finally, there is a discussion about whether it is worth buying. If you are pursuing an extreme noise reduction experience, do you choose between Sony and BOSE. If you are pursuing high cost-effectiveness and excellent sound quality active noise cancelling headphones, the original price of 999 yuan and the promotional price of 711 yuan Sound Beauty P60BT ANC are definitely worth considering!
